Custom Crush at Chamard Vineyards

Make your own barrel of wine in our wine cellar with the help of our Wine Making team. You decide what kind of wine you would like to make and we facilitate every step from crush to bottling and labeling. One barrel yields 300 bottles of wine. The price of a custom barrel ranges from 6000.00 to 8000.00. The process takes between 6 and 24 months depending your grape selection and style of wine.

INTERACTIVE

As a Custom Crush Vintner you have the choice to be as hands on or hands off as you like. Make it a team effort. Go in on the price of a barrel with a handful of friends, make a barrel as a Corporate Team building project or use your Custom Labeled bottles to tell the story of your Brand.

ENTERTAINING

During the life of your barrel Private Space Rental fees are waived. Entertain Clients with a unique interactive event, Host Meetings in the Red Barrel Room complete with Audio Visual capabilities or Celebrate a Birthday. Chat with our Wine Maker about your wine while you do a barrel tasting.

SELECTING YOUR GRAPES
Chamard has secured prestigious vineyard plots producing premium grapes for each grape variety in our wine offering, picked at optimum maturity.

THE CRUSH
In red wine, grapes are usually de-stemmed and crushed to allow maximum extraction of all the good elements hidden inside each berry. White wine grapes are gently pressed before fermentation begins.

FERMENTATION
Your area is equipped with a stainless steel tank used exclusively for fermenting each batch of your premium wine. Our temperature-controlled environment insures optimum fermentation.

BARREL MATURATION
We work closely with barrel craftsmen to assure that from the origin of the oak tree to final crafting, your wood barrel will always compliment the quality of your wine. You’ll have your choice of American, French and Hungarian Oak.

BOTTLING, CORKING, FOILING, AND LABELING
Once your wine has matured we take great care to oversee the delicate transfer from barrel to bottle, using our state of the art bottling line, guaranteeing wine quality.
